A hearing to include pets in temporary restraining orders

The Animal Action Center of the MSPCA is taking important actions to defend the rights of animals.
In their newsletter, they informed that there is an interesting hearing scheduled this upcoming Monday, September 24th at 1pm in Room A-1 at the Massachusetts State House. The hearing is open to the public.
In particular, Section 6 of H.727 would explicitly allow judges to include pets in temporary restraining orders. The bill is designed to protect victims of domestic violence and their pets. You can even email your Legislators and ask them to Protect Victims of Domestic Violence and Their Pets.
