The Committee to Protect Dogs is a state ballot question group dedicated to passing stronger dog protection laws in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are a grassroots organization comprised of nearly two thousand volunteers statewide.

With just over one month left to collect signatures to place the Greyhound Protection Act on the ballot, they need your help! The ballot measure, promoted by the Committee to Protect Dogs, will phase out dog racing by 2010.

As of yesterday, volunteers have submitted 32,000 signatures which means there are 88,000 more signatures needed to qualify for the ballot. There are only five weeks remaining to collect the signatures needed to place the Greyhound Protection Act on the ballot!

To volunteer, please contact the Committee to Protect Dogs’ office at 617-666-3526.
