A young male pittie needs a home
Happy is a 1-2 year old pit bull who is looking for a new home. His name says it all – he always seems to be grinning and wagging his tail. He is a stocky guy but is only about 35-40 lbs, the perfect size. He makes his 90 lb foster brother look like a giant!
Happy is almost housebroken and is learning basic commands. He is crate trained as well. He learns very quickly. He loves other dogs and would do well living with a female. He also does great with all of the people he meets.
Happy loves to play, but he settles down very quickly and is actually quite mellow. He is also very agile and athletic; he would make a great jogging partner. Happy is very affectionate. His favorite hobbies include cuddling, playing with his toys, cuddling, but rubs, cuddling, meeting new people and cuddling – get the point? Everyone that meets Happy absolutely adores him. To sum it up, he is the perfect little pint sized pit bull.
Please complete the adoption application on www.underdogresq.org today!
You can even apply to become a foster family.

Help Open a Holistic Wellness Center for Pets
Michele and her dog Bella have a dream: to open a Holistic Wellness Center in Boston that would be a central place for people to get treatments for their pets, purchase products, take classes, and build community.
To realize her dream, Michele entered to win $50K from Intuit: you can learn more about her idea and help her to realize it by voting for her video here. (Be patient while the video loads, it’s worth it!)

Cute Boston Dogs
Today we would like to share with you a couple of pictures we received from the owners of two of the most beautiful dogs we know in Boston.
Pictured below is Mina, a long-hair Chihuahua wearing a sweatshirt. She is an affectionate member of the Chihuahua meetup. She was very shy at her first meetup but, meeting after meeting, her social skills improved a lot. Mina distinguishes herself among other Chihuahuas for her discrete elegance: she is definitely super-classy!
Lucy is a Golden Doodle who you can meet at the little dog park off of Charles Street (near the Boston Common) where she usually goes to play. Her parents, Michele and Matt, took this nice picture of her last summer.

WOW! Santa Claus at Doggie Day!!!
Who is this supercute old man!? It is Santa Claus!! And not just any Santa Claus: he is only for dogs! It seems that the old man flew from the North Pole to meet Boston dogs at Doggie Day, last Saturday and Sunday.
There were so many dogs who booked a picture with Santa- here are pictures of just a few of them. All profits of the event benefited Canine Companion for Independence.
By the way, Santa is a big dog lover, too! He is pictured below with his babies Cleo and Oomer.
