Found Dog in Quincy
I was emailed this morning by a member of one of the local doggie meetup groups asking for help with a found dog in Quincy. Here is the message:
“A neighbor just found a young Doxie tied to our garbage dumpster in Quincy. Has anyone lost or had one stolen? It is healthy & being cared for but I want to find its real home if it was stolen. Anyone missing a dog can contact me and describe sex age color etc and it will be returned to its proper home”
This is very sad, but hopefully this dog can be reunited with its owners soon! If you have any information- leave a comment below or send us an email and we will be in touch!

I hate to say it, but it sounds like a clear case of abandonment. As an avid animal advocate/activist, I receive e-mails about this weekly from The Humane Society, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, In Defense of Animals, to name just a few.
Thank God you found the dog before it could be overcome by the elements or worse, taken by people and used as a bait dog for dog fighting (yes, sadly this happens everyday and as I type this).

I cannot believe tha absolute cruelty that exists in human beings.
