Last week we heard the amazing news, that the Animal Rescue League of Boston received a $3,000,000 donation from the Stanton Group.

The Stanton Group’s donation is the single largest gift in ARL chapter’s 109 year history. The money will go to establish a new center for local shelter dogs.

Local veterinarian, Gary Patronek is quoted in the article saying that the “center for Shelter Dogs will extend beyond the discipline of Animal Behavior and will incorporate clinical medicine and epidemiology to develop a world-class program on behalf of homeless dogs waiting for adoption into loving, caring homes.”
