Weekend With Princess Indie Marie Lovebug!

>   Boston Woofstyle, Humorous Hounds  —  SNIF  @  10:16 am

This weekend, I got to spend three glorious days with Indie whom I often refer to as lovebug because she LOVES to cuddle! This weekend I had to do lots of research and Indie was always there to provide study hug breaks and to lend a paw!

Indie lending a paw with researching!

Indie providing me with a much needed study/cuddle break!

Indie cruising along, coming home from the ice cream shop!
Slightly miffed she wasn’t able to eat the WHOLE ice cream cone.

“How did you get them to do that??”

>   Boston Woofstyle  —  SNIF  @  11:46 am

It’s really quite simple.  I provide them with what a dog actually needs to be happy.  And believe it or not, the first piece of that equation ISN’T cookies…

I’ve been a dog enthusiasts since my sophomore year in college when I rescued my first puppy from an abusive home.  I immediately had a unique ability to teach him the appropriate way to live amongst humans.  For the last 5 years I’ve been educating dog owners on how to live in harmony with their k9 companions.

This picture is a glimpse of how our dog’s live their lives.

I’m not trying to sell my services as a dog trainer (quite frankly I don’t have time) - but I am happy to share advice and answer questions through our blog.  Post a comment or send an email with any questions!!

Doggie day trip to Bare Cove

>   Active Pack, Boston Woofstyle  —  SNIF  @  4:29 pm

Chop, Indie and I took a short trip down to Hingham, MA this weekend with a specific destination of Bare Cove Park. It ended up being an unbelievable place to take the dogs! We probably met 20 or 30 other dogs and their owners during our 2 hour trek around the 400 + acres which was used as an ammunition depot by the U.S. Navy until 1971.

This type of atmosphere is exceptional for dogs. It’s a neutral location, plenty of space, and the ideology behind traveling over new terrain as opposed to being confined to a “dog park” instantly puts dogs in a more natural state of mind.

It has been deemed a wildlife sanctuary and a location that the public can use for their recreational activities. There is an excellent variety of terrain such as shoreline, woods, fields, and small stream beds. We will definitely be making a return visit!
